Social Sciences
The Social Science faculty is made up of an experienced team of teachers who teach in specialty subject areas. A wide range of teaching strategies are employed to stimulate students and to enable students develop a deeper understanding of their course work. Group work, Internet research, report writing skills and multi media presentations are used by staff and students.
The faculty offers extra curricula activities to interested students, such as The NSW Mock Trial Competition, Australian Stock Exchange Competition and the Australian and New Zealand Economics Competition.
All subjects are extremely relevant for those students wishing to pursue further studies at either TAFE or university in the areas of Business Administration, Communication and Humanities, Education, Social and Community Services, Engineering and Town Planning, Tourism and IT.
