Careers
The Careers Department at Freshwater Senior Campus delivers information and counselling services to students, parents and staff. It provides opportunities for all students to explore career options and make guided, confident and informed decisions regarding individual school to work transition planning. Counselling sessions are enhanced by use of both computerised career testing programs and the most up to date information accessed from internet career web sites.
The Careers Department complements the following whole school initiatives and is an integral part of their operation:
- School to work initiative
- School mentor program
- School and community liaison
- School Welfare team
At the centre of all interactions is a goal to achieve a successful exit for students from secondary schooling into further education and training.
